Gel Crusher™ Spin Column
MTC Bio’s Gel Crusher™ Spin Columns simplify gel fragmentation by replacing traditional crush-and-soak methods.
Ideal for molecular cloning, PCR, restriction digestion, sequencing, and labeling, these spin columns efficiently break gel slices into small, uniform fragments. Simply place the Gel Crusher™ in a 2mL microtube and centrifuge at max speed (~15,000×g) for 5 minutes.
The gel is forced through 600µm holes, creating fragments that are easy to pipette into NaCl solution for faster elution, filtration, or incubation.
